Meeting in tandem with the National Governors’ Association, senior education officials from six states agreed to forge a new alliance that will lead American education towards renewal.

The Education Leaders Council Primer is “intended to assist states in setting rigorous academic standards and to demystify a process that has become unnecessarily complex.”
